MEGAOREI 3 INSTALLATION

  1. Screw the adjustable diopter lens on the camcorder.
  2. Peel off the insulation sheet on the negative pole of the battery.
  3. Put it in the battery compartment, positive pole inside.
  4. Insert the TF card in the TF card slot.
  5. Put the fixing ring on the scope.
  6. Select suitable O ring and put it on the scope, small size face camcorder.
  7. Put the camcorder-scope connector on the camcorder and screw it on.
  8. Put the camcorder on the scope and screw the fixing ring on.

DEFINITION OF THE BUTTON

POWER/UP button: Long press for power “ON/OFF”; Short press to make the cursor up “ ↑ ” on the menu.

MENU/OK button: Long press for open or close the menu; Short press to select on the menu.

VIDEO logo button: Long press to playback video; Short press to start/stop recording video.

CAMERA logo button: Long press to view photos; Short press to take photo.

IR/DOWN button: Long press for IR Torch “ON/OFF”; Short press to make the cursor down “ ↓ ” on the menu.

  • The embedded crosshairs is just for calibration, not for aiming, it can be hidden, please use scope crosshairs for aiming.

  • The “Cyclic Record” function is for recording video automatically. Please close it to save power and the saving capacity of the TF card.
  • The LCD Off function is to close the LCD screen automatically. If the LCD screen keep turning off, please go to “LCD Off” menu and select “Off” to inactive the automatically OFF function.

  • You can adjust the brightness of the LCD screen by “LCD Brightness” function.

MEGAOREI 3 NIGHT VISION CALIBRATION

  1. Rotate adjustable diopter lens to see the screen menu clearly.
  2. Fix the IR camera on eye relief position.
  3. Rotate the scope magnification adjustment wheel.
  4. Rotate the night vision device internal sight to get a clear image.
  5. Long press the IR button to turn on the IR torch, a IR torch logo will appear on the screen and night mode will be activated automatically (no need to turn on the IR torch and night mode when using in daytime, long press it and you can turn it off again).
  6. Adjust the direction of the IR torch to overlap the view of the scope.
  7. Push in the IR torch hood to get low beam for short distance aiming.
    Pull out the IR torch hood to get high beam for long distance aiming.

MEGAOREI 3 NIGHT VISION IR TORCH ADJUSTMENT

The head of the IR flashlight is adjustable, stretch or retract to suitable length to get suitable brightness.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. The screen turns off after one minute every time.

You may have set 1 minute turn off in LCD OFF. Please go to menu, select LCD OFF, choose OFF, then the screen won’t shut down again.

  1. Unable to see any light when the IR flashlight is on.

The IR light is invisible to human naked eyes. You can put it close to the wall. It would show slight red light while on. And when you turn the flashlight and IR camera night mode on at night, you can see the view is brighter.

  1. The view is too dark at night.

Please long press the IR/DOWN button to turn on the IR torch and activate the night mode. Stretch the head of the flashlight to get high beam, adjust to suitable brightness. The Direction of the flashlight can be adjusted slightly too.

  1. The view is too bright in daytime.

Please don’t turn on the IR torch and don’t activate the night mode when using in daytime.

  1. The image is blur.

Please adjust your scope to get clear image by naked eyes first in daytime. Then put night vision camcorder on the pupil Distance of the scope (where you put your naked eye to see clearly through the scope), and then rotate the lens of the IR camera to get clear picture.

  1. Unable to get clear image. Is it the problem of scope or the night vision camcorder.

You can take our night vision camcorder off the scope and test it without scope, normally, it can see up to 100 meter even without scope. If you can get clear image with day mode in daytime and with night mode at night, then it is the problem of scope (in many cases, it is the problem of calibration of the camcorder and scope, please refer to the calibration part to adjust it).

  1. The crosshair is not central on the screen.

Please rotate the plastic fixing ring on the camcorder-scope connector to make the crosshair central.

  1. The eyepiece of the scope is too small to fix the night vision camcorder on.

Please wrap some camouflage tape to make the scope eyepiece OD larger, then mount the night vision camcorder on.

  1. The camcorder does not turn on.

Kindly check if you put the batteries in wrong direction. Please direct the positive end of battery inside the battery compartment.

There is insulation sheet on the negative pole of the battery, please don’t forget to remove it before using.

Please full charge your batteries, the screen won’t turn on in order to protect the IC inside the screen when the power of the battery is too low.

Please use the other batteries to check if it turns on now. The screen won’t turn on when the quality of the battery is not good enough.

  1. The screen blink.

Please use the other batteries to check if it turns on now. The screen may blink when the quality of the battery is not good enough or low power.
